on music

spotify premium makes the world go round. honestly, i swear.
i love vinyls, i love cd's, i love tapes, i love all manual forms of music. however, you can't beat spotify.

i've been exploring more new music lately, finding interesting songs to add to my playlists and building playlists for others, in order to share my experiences. i feel that this is massively distracting me from exams, and i also feel like it is almost definitely a form of procrastinating in order to avoid history revision.

however, i'm having a whale of a time, and i have found myself on multiple occasions having a dance by myself in my bedroom, and quite frankly i don't give a damn if my neighbour sees, because his car is too loud and it fucks me off.
fuck you lewis.

either way, nothing beats the portability of spotify, the convenience, the ease of finding new music, being able to follow other people's playlists and find out what they are listening to.
the only thing left to create is "make your own mixtape vinyl," because i would pay a lot more than £5 a month for that.

sometimes i feel that people don't appreciate music. just revising? play some music. walking somewhere, or on the bus? play some music. tidying your room and want to occupy your brain? play some music. party? music. alone? music. drinking? music. in the car? music.
the variety of music we are able to experience nowadays is incredible, and it never fails to amaze me how literally anyone can stick up a song, mediocre or not, and it can be found so easily by others.

streaming sites make music so accessible, and allow new artists to grow, and also allows the listener to diversify their music taste and enjoy other people's art. no matter what your mood, the weather, your situation- music has always got your back
i don't really know, i just really appreciate music today, and finding new stuff has made me fall in love with my own playlists all over again.

go and listen to a good tune.

if you wanna have a gander and check out my spotify playlists here y'all go!
